Ecotourism: Blue Men of Morocco

Ecotourism is also known as sustainable tourism, and its purpose is to educate the traveler, provide funds for ecological conservation of a particular area. Furthermore, it is the practice of low-impact, educational, ecologically and culturally sensitive travel that benefits local communities and host countries.
In the Moroccan region of the Sahara, tourists can arrange and take tours with travel specialists called the Blue Men of Morocco, an American company that was formed to organize ecotourism travel tours in Morocco. Any profits from Blue Men of Morocco Co. return back into Haven La Chance Desert Hotel where many improvements are still needed to allow work for the family members and their families. The company's purpose is to educate the tourists about the Moroccan area, and is safe for the environment.
During summers, there are activities such as camel trekking and camping, which have little to no negative impacts on the desert. Furthermore, it can benefit local communities through the profits that can go to conserving and protecting the threatened and endangered Saharan animals.
Morocco is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa, and the reasons are quite apparent.  To the south eastern region of Morocco is mostly the Sahara, but the north consists of fertile valleys and mountains andnear the west coast, beautiful blue beaches such as ones in Casblanca and Agadir, are great tourist attractions.
